Senior Planning Specialist At Chema Group

Chema Group is looking to hiring  ( Senior Planning Specialist ).

Job Description
· Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and ensuring efficient production processes. Collaborate with production managers and other stakeholders to establish production targets and timelines.
· Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
· Utilize data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast demand for products. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather input and align forecasts with business objectives.
· Assess production capacity and identify opportunities for capacity expansion or optimization. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet production targets.
· Identify areas for process improvement within the production planning function. Implement lean manufacturing principles, develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), and drive efficiency initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.
· Work closely with sales, marketing, procurement, logistics, and finance, to gather input and align planning efforts. Coordinate with these teams to address any issues or changes that may impact the production plan.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning, such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and inventory turnover. Analyze data, identify performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.
· Identify and assess risks that may impact production planning and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor external factors, such as supply chain disruptions or market fluctuations, and develop contingency plans to minimize potential disruptions.

Job Requirements
· A bachelor’s degree.
· From 4 to 6 years of experience in production planning, or a related field within the manufacturing industry.
· Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning methodologies, and inventory management principles. Familiarity with production scheduling software and tools is desirable.
· proficient in conducting planning analysis.
· Certifications in production planning or lean manufacturing.
· Strong communication and leadership Skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
