Key Accountabilities
- Develop detailed project schedules using planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
- Collaborate with project and site teams to gather information and input for accurate planning.
- Monitor project progress against the baseline program and update schedules accordingly.
- Identify critical paths, risks, and delays, and recommend mitigation measures.
- Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to project stakeholders and management.
- Analyse productivity, forecast completion dates, and generate earned value reports.
- Participate in project meetings, providing planning and scheduling insights.
- Assist in resource planning and allocation in coordination with relevant departments.
- Support the preparation of extension of time (EOT) claims with proper justifications.
- Ensure alignment of project schedules with contractual milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of construction sequences, project management, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) is a plus.
- PMP or PSP certification is an advantage.
