𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
He is pivotal in optimizing material planning processes to ensure seamless production operations and efficient inventory management. His primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing material planning strategies, analyzing data to forecast material requirements accurately, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material planning and inventory management

𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
– Setting up MRP systems to align with the organization’s production processes, inventory policies, lead times, and supplier information. They collaborate with IT teams and system administrators to ensure accurate data inputs and system parameters.
– Maintaining accurate data necessary for MRP calculations. This includes maintaining an up-to-date bill of materials (BOM), inventory levels, lead times, supplier information, production schedules, and demand forecasts in the MRP system.
– Generate material requirements plans based on production schedules, inventory levels, and demand forecasts. They calculate the quantities of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies needed for production within specified time frames, considering factors like safety stock levels and replenishment lead times.
– Collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize inventory levels while ensuring adequate stock to meet production requirements and customer demands. They analyze inventory turnover rates, carrying costs, and lead times to determine optimal reorder quantities and safety stock levels.
– Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing costs.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, quality assurance, finance, and sales to ensure alignment of material planning activities with overall business goals, production schedules, and customer satisfaction targets. Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material planning and inventory management.
Identify and mitigate material supply risks to ensure uninterrupted production.
– Evaluate supplier performance and establish strong relationships to drive continuous improvement

Job Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field
– 4-6 years of experience in the manufacturing field, preferably in Cement, sugar, or steel.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
– SAP User is Must
– Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
