Join us at TAQA Arabia as a Senior Logistics Specialist and be a key player in optimizing our supply chain operations. Your role will involve coordinating logistics activities, managing transportation and warehousing, and ensuring the efficient distribution of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the entire import logistics process, from arranging transportation to tracking deliveries.
– Ensure accuracy and compliance of all import documentation with international trade regulations.
– Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers for timely shipments.
– Handle accounting and payment matters, ensuring duties are paid on time.
– Monitor shipment schedules to meet company deadlines and inventory needs.
– Provide pre-alerts on incoming shipments and gather necessary clearance documentation.
– Verify costs with freight forwarders and clearing agents against approved rates.
– Manage the ACID creation process and ensure compliance with Egypt’s guidelines.
– Follow up on the full import process from vessel arrival to customs clearance.
– Verify invoices from service providers and ensure timely payments.
– Support the Global Logistics Team in tendering processes and project implementations.
– Monitor incoming shipments to align with inventory levels and track import-related costs for cost-effectiveness.
– Prepare and submit regular reports on shipment status, costs, and overall import performance.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade.
– 2-4 years of proven experience as a Logistics Specialist or in a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems.
– Understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
– Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
– Experience in managing importation/clearance and transportation.
– Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and overcome daily challenges.
– Relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
