Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Logistics Specialist at Solotex in Shubrā al Khaymah. The Senior Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing supply chain operations, overseeing exports, providing excellent customer service, and utilizing analytical skills to optimize logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all import and export activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and international trade agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
- Manage and verify all shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Align logistics operations with the company’s overall business goals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce logistics costs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with logistics service providers and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or a related field in manufacturing industry.
- A Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration (MBA), or a related field is a plus.
- +5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, Experience in Textile Manufacturing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills to manage contracts and agreements.
