Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end logistics, from import/export permits, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery to clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients in multiple countries across Egypt & KSA.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers to optimize logistics operations.
- Lead the implementation of a new warehouse management system to improve efficiency in picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy, forecast demand, and monitor inventory levels to minimize stockouts.
- Maintain documentation and records of all logistics activities, including shipment tracking, delivery confirmation, and customs clearance.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including alternative sourcing options, re-routing shipments, and escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Manage the relations with MOH and governmental authorities.
- Reporting Purchase orders/shipping reports to supervisor and Supply Chain manager on daily basis.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in managing logistics operations within the medical devices or related industry.
- Experience with customs and import/export regulations in Egypt & KSA.
Required Skills:
- Proven track record of managing high-volume logistics operations and optimizing supply chain processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using data analysis tools.
- experience in Dealing with MOH, preferably in medical devices classification.
