Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with international suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
Sourcing & Procurement: Source raw materials, fabrics, trims, and equipment from global markets while ensuring quality, price competitiveness, and timely delivery.
Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with international suppliers to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
Order & Shipment Coordination: Oversee the entire purchasing cycle, from order placement to shipment tracking and customs clearance.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs documentation, and trade agreements relevant to the textile industry.
Inventory & Demand Planning: Work closely with production and planning teams to align procurement with production schedules and inventory levels.
Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports on purchasing performance, supplier evaluations, and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, International Trade, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in foreign purchasing within a textile or garment manufacturing environment, preferably in a multinational company.
Strong understanding of international sourcing, import/export regulations, and customs procedures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of other languages (e.g., Turkish) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
