What You’ll Be Doing
Responsible for taking the lead in the manage the procurement of materials, goods and services for the organization, ensuring to optimize the cost, cash, quality and service.
Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, evaluate supplier capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, assess risks, and implement supplier improvement plans. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise and ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
Contract Management: Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as necessary.
Procurement Operations: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition processing, purchase order creation, order tracking, and delivery coordination. Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels while minimizing costs.
Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities through analysis of spend data, market trends, and supplier performance. Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and delivery timelines.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as engineering, production, and finance teams to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on sourcing strategies and supplier selection. Foster effective communication and teamwork across departments.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement. Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze procurement data to generate reports, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Present findings to management, highlighting opportunities for improvement and making data-driven recommendations.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
3-5 years of experince in procurement
Engineering qualification is a plus
Multiple Category handling experince
Indirect Procurement, handling diverse sourcing activities
Experience is running the RFX processes
understanding and implementation of procurement methodologies, systems, and practices.
Skillful evaluation of legal and business risks, pivotal for making informed contractual commitment.
