RESPONSIBILIETIES:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet the organization’s current and future needs.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, including contract management, vendor selection, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor market trends and leverage procurement best practices to drive cost savings and value creation opportunities.
- Responsible for the material planning through the MRP, to ensure uninterrupted flow of materials on a regular basis and proactive planning of all procurement activities.
- Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) and scrutinize current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed properly.
- Successfully and accurately control MRP system and processes, from forecast upload to generation of all inventory reporting.
- Systematize the creation of purchasing reports to monitor the purchasing and financial performance indicators by the Planning team.
- Facilitate the forecasting and inventory process through focusing on cross functional communication, direction setting, risk management, and conflict resolution.
- Source new suppliers & negotiating prices for spot orders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Procurement and Material Planning
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
