Job Description:
The function of this position is to develop a portfolio of clients as per the company’s commercial
strategy. The main responsibility of this position is scaling and growth. The success will be
measured by the number of clients and gross profit. This position is tasked with acquiring new
clients, onboarding the client and managing the relationship between the company and the
client.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients as per commercial strategy.
- Meet and gather data from potential clients regarding logistics requirements.
- Design logistics solutions as per client requirements by aligning with internal functions.
- Pitch logistics design to potential clients and secure trial shipments.
- Introduce and onboard client to various functions on the MTS Logistics team.
- Ensure all requirements are communicated clearly and that all functions are aligned with the client’s requirements.
- Follow up on client operations until the relationship is smooth, starting from pricing to collections.
- Maintain relationships between the company and clients in the capacity of intermediary.
- Systematically gather feedback from clients to relay the information to the various functions of the company with the goal of improving quality.
- Gather data from clients and investigate possible areas of expansion and development.
Job Requirements:
- No experience in the industry or 2 years as operations in forwarding
- Ambition and an interest in the field of logistics
- Both written and spoken proficiency in Arabic and English
- Proficiency in research and computer use
- Good understanding of local and global geography
- Awareness of the market and a good understanding of local and global economy
- Time commitment
- Quick analytical and quantitative thinking skills
- Powerful problem solving and negotiating skills
