For one of our bids in Egypt, we are seeking a Rolling Stock Manager (f/m/d) as a part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Branch Office, who can support our team in PIU, Contract Management, and Construction Supervision Consultancy.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge in the construction supervision of the design, fabrication, manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning of the metro rolling stock and its components.
- Supervise and liaise with Contractor’s specialists managing rolling stock technical interface including the implementation, operation of all systems including CBTC, communications, traction power (third rail) and Track
- Supervise of the experimental working period (EWP)
- Meet regularly with the Project team to provide project updates/progress and share and follow up on relevant information
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and typing deliverables in English
- Attend project meetings / workshops for technical input and follow up rolling stock related issues
- Coordinate activities of Contractor and Client
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 18 years of professional experience supervision of the design, fabrication, manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning of the metro rolling stock and its components
- Experience in supervision and liaising with Contractor’s specialists managing rolling stock technical interface including the implementation, operation of all systems including CBTC, communications, traction power (third rail) and Track
- Experience in supervision of experimental working period (EWP)
- 5 years’ experience in similar position
- Previous experience with comparable projects in the Middle East region would be advantage
- Experience in the supervision of the installation, testing and commissioning of MEP in metro/electrified railway transport projects, inclusive of systems for ventilation, firefighting, escalators, elevators, plumbing and dewatering systems… etc
- Experience in similar environment
- Fluency in English, Arabic language speaking, writing & reading an advantage
- Experience in MS Office Applications (MS Office), Outlook, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Share Point Online
- Driving license required in order to perform assigned duties
