Job description

Saraya Middle East is now hiring Purchasing Specialist.

Responsibilities

– Responsible for buying factory materials from international suppliers.

– Negotiating with suppliers on Prices, Inco-term, payment term, lead-time and all other regulations related to deliver

the material.

– Analyzed and reported variances from estimates.

– Initiating needed payment requests on SAP and follow up till paying the payments on time to insure the cycle

smoothness.

– Negotiating with forwarders, compare rates and conditions to get the best shipping rates and shortest delivery time.

– Mitigated logistics, resolved shortages , and tracked missed or late deliveries while scheduling and expediting high-

priority customer.

– Responsible for buying direct raw material [Local & foreign]

– Sourcing new supplier based on needed requirements.

– Research for potential vendors and evaluate the current vendors in terms of price, quality &

availability.

– Compare and evaluate offers from supplier.

– Revise all shipping documents to be sent to the broker.

– Follow up with brokers until material delivery to warehouse.

– Park commercial invoices, freight invoice and clearance invoices.

– Follow up with QC department to ensure the delivered material quality.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or engineering a plus

2. 3+ years of supply chain experience.

3. Experienced in pharmaceutical field.

4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

5. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

6. Good time-management skills.

7. Great interpersonal and communication skills.
