Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The role also includes monitoring inventory levels, creating and implementing purchasing strategies, and working closely with other departments to meet the company’s needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier management
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement strategies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and other relevant procurement software
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred
