An International Engineering Firm located in Alexandria is seeking to hire a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement operations and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies
Manage end-to-end procurement processes (local & international)
Negotiate contracts and secure optimal commercial terms
Monitor market trends, costs, and supplier performance
Lead vendor sourcing, evaluation, and relationship management
Oversee foreign purchasing operations, logistics, and transactions
Ensure accurate demand planning and timely delivery of materials
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet business needs
Manage purchasing activities through ERP systems
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field
Minimum 15 years of experience in heavy equipment (earthmoving) procurement
At least 5 years in a managerial role
Solid experience in heavy equipment and/or spare parts procurement is a must
