Purchasing & Logistics Specialist
Job Description
- Negotiation of prices, payment conditions and delivery time with the suppliers
- Prepare purchase orders to the suppliers including all required conditions
- Follow up with the suppliers in order to schedule deliveries within the agreed delivery period
- Requesting and reviewing the shipping documents from the suppliers to ensure conformity with customs authority and customers requirements
- Follow up the payments to the suppliers with accounting department
- Negotiation of prices and payment conditions with shipping forwarders
- Follow up & tracking shipping orders with shipping forwarders
- Follow up updated local customs regulations to ensue requesting the correct shipping documents
Competencies and Skills Required
- Good understanding purchasing and shipping terms
- Communication & negotiations skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good in English Speaking & writing with writing skills for technical reporting
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
Qualifications and Experience Required
- BSc in Commerce / Logistics
- Experience of 2-3 years of in working purchasing / Logistics for similar position
- Experience of orders / contract commercial negotiation.
- General MS Office Program skills.
- Preferred to be living in Nasr City, Heliopolis or New Cairo
