- Actively engage with the business and develop key relationships with business stakeholders
- Obtain quotes and negotiate best costing, delivery & quality for any goods or services dictated by the role
- If Category purchasing is in place work with categories as instructed.
- Use the designated Purchasing system
- Send purchase orders to the supplier
- Execute on time delivery with suppliers of goods or services
- Supplier & business interaction.
- Administration tasks as dictated by the role or department
- Abide by processes and procedures for purchasing dictated locally or Globally.
- Contribute to departmental & global KPIs for spend under control with a purchase order, several quotes per purchase, delivery performance and savings.
- Provide professionalism, effectiveness and efficiency by delivering bottom line cost savings.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities, preferential pricing, payment terms, and partnerships to bring more value to the business.
- Actively reinforce general and legal compliance and requirements regarding quality, health, safety, sustainability and environment (“QHSSE”) within the role.
