MiGenTra Egypt is hiring Production planning Section head.

Job Summary:

Organize production planning according to demand and quality standards in MiGenTra Egypt, and all related tasks, ensuring smooth flow of the production process to achieve the company’s goals.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Set objectives for the production planning department, and supervise their implementation, identify and apply KPIs, measure their efficiency and effectiveness, to achieve the company’s goals.
  • Build and maintain a strong and capable production planning team for MiGenTra Egypt. Create and apply individual development plans for team members, and perform evaluation to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Plan the production program in coordination with operations team to meet the agreed forecast
  • Prepare yearly/monthly production plan
  • Plan Production resources (tools and materials) and follow-up with purchasing and warehouse teams
  • Monitor daily production activities, promptly addressing any deviations or bottlenecks.
  • Strongly cooperate with other departments/ sections within MiGenTra Egypt (for instance USP, BMP, DSP, QA, QC, warehouse, purchasing, engineering), and within Minapharm (e.g. planning, finances, purchasing, IT, HR) aiming at smooth and efficient production and process flow.
  • Issue production planning related documentation (e.g. SOPs) and revise approved SOPs according to revision plan.
  • Anticipate peak periods, seasonal fluctuations, and new product launches.
  • Implement oracle system for tracking the materials and tools used in production
  • Record and report the incidents and deviations, investigations and assessments, root cause analysis and SMART corrective and preventive actions for audit findings, incidents and deviations, supervise implementation of CAPA, additional controls, change control actions, annual report actions and management review actions timely.
  • Perform evaluation of the planning team members.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule preventive maintenance and equipment calibrations.
  • Ensure timely execution of maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
  • Ensure production plans adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards, including GMP and EHS requirements.
  • Manage of new projects related to operations planning.
  • Prepare the yearly budget for operations directorate based on the agreed forecast
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested in the field of employment.

The right applicant should have:

  • BSc. in Sciences or Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree.
  • From 6-9 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning.
  • Experience in MRP II (manufacturing resource planning)
  • Good knowledge Root cause analysis and setting SMART actions.
