Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Planning Section Head at ACCM in Cairo. The role involves overseeing production schedules, planning, and ensuring efficient production processes. The Section Head will use analytical skills to optimize production planning and coordinate with various departments. Effective communication within the team and with stakeholders is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailed production schedules, tailored to the specific needs of production.
  • Collaborate with the Production Department to monitor processes, address disruptions, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Department to manage raw materials and chemical inventories, ensuring an uninterrupted production process.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels for calcium carbonate and related production materials.
  • Liaise with the Procurement Department to source necessary chemicals and materials, providing accurate forecasts and ensuring timely delivery to prevent shortages.
  • Coordinate between production, warehouse, and procurement teams to address material, logistics, or scheduling issues.
  • Proactively identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Track and analyze production data, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within calcium carbonate production processes.

Qualifications

  • Applicant must be a resident of Al Minya
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Management, or a related field
  • Relevant Certifications in production planning, supply chain management.
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in production or demand planning, particularly in cement or Calcium carbonate or Chemical Industry.
  • Experience in managing production schedules and ensuring alignment with business demands.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo).
  • Analytical abilities to forecast production needs, solve problems, and improve efficiency.
  • Knowledge of production planning principles and inventory management
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures in industrial settings
  • Very good skills in decision making, time management and conflicts management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, organizing and analytical skills.
