QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree Business Management or equivalent.
- 4 to 6 years relevant experience in planning related function including experience in launching new brands/ product ranges.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages planning of all Buying and Merchandising activities for brands across different categories and across different vendors
- Supports in creation and management of product life cycle, new introductions, discontinuation and exits
- Coordinates sourcing and production planning with vendors/suppliers; defining ideal range based on profile/facings in line with MOQ guidelines
- Ensures proper supply by defining Bestsellers (in collaboration with the category team) and ensures its availability.
- Supports in the development of new brand launches/ relaunches related projects including setting supply business model with the vendors and internal purchasing business model.
- Participates in designing and executing effective promotional activations for brands to support performance and increase brands penetration across categories.
- Owns reporting of brands performance as well as ROI for proposed activities and promotions.
- Supports branding and marketing teams in any brands product development initiatives across categories using knowledge gained from analyzing performance and market trends.
- Supports category team in defining product ranges to enable maintaining a commercially efficient and beneficial assortment while maintaining the brands strategy.
- Contributes to integration of brands planning in the supply chain end to end project including participation in developments on Tech side whether with internal or external parties.
