Production Planner At FRONERI Egypt

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs. You will work closely with production, materials management, and sales teams to ensure efficient and timely production of our ice cream products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
• Analyze production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks to ensure optimal production flow.
• Coordinate with materials management to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging.
• Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to address production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Generate and analyze production reports, including capacity utilization, schedule adherence, and inventory levels.
• Manage inventory levels of finished goods to meet customer demand while minimizing storage costs.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, quality, and logistics.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE) to manage production planning and scheduling activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, or related field) or Supply Chain Management.
• 1-3 years of experience in production planning or a related role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of production planning principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
