Key Responsibilities

  • Production Management
  • Design, implement, and oversee manufacturing processes for cable production.
  • Develop production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer demands.
  • Monitor and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Ensure that all cables produced meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
  • Identify defects and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Manage the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery used in cable production.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting the production process.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Process Optimization
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity.
  • Research and adopt new technologies to advance production capabilities.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and practices.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental and industry-specific standards.
  • Provide training to staff on safety and operational protocols.
  • Collaboration and Leadership
  • Work closely with design, procurement, and logistics teams to align production goals.
  • Supervise and train production staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).
  • Experience in manufacturing or production engineering in cable production.
  • Strong knowledge of cable design, materials, and production techniques.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing tools, Lean Manufacturing and ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Understanding of global standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other quality certificates related to cable manufacturing.
