Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning:
  • Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to schedules and timely delivery.
  • Monitor daily production output and adjust plans as needed to address delays or changes in demand.
  • Capacity Planning:
  • Analyze production capacity and identify constraints affecting throughput.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize resource allocation.
  • Recommend capacity expansions or adjustments based on long-term demand projections.
  • Demand Analysis:
  • Review sales forecasts and historical data to predict future production requirements.
  • Work with sales and supply chain teams to align production plans with market needs.
  • Adjust plans proactively to mitigate risks related to demand fluctuations.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and tools.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce waste and improve resource utilization.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Act as a liaison between production, supply chain, and quality teams to align on priorities and resolve issues.
  • Communicate production plans, changes, and updates effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on capacity utilization and production performance.
  • Risk Management:
  • Anticipate potential bottlenecks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruption.
  • Monitor and address issues related to equipment downtime, labor shortages, or material availability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in planning tools and software SAP is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools
