Procurement Specialist for Oil & Gas Company

A well-known Oil & Gas Company in Cairo, Egypt is looking for Procurement Specialist who can:

Procure the company requirement from supplies, raw materials, equipment and services needed to

carry out the operation, in compliance with established procedures, practices and policies, and

expedite delivery of goods to help achieving the Company’s objectives.

Job Main Duties:

• Achieve specific procurement goals or provide support to others while following established procurement systems and protocols.
• Identify trends, summarize findings, and give feedback on existing contract performance, and provide as input to new contract processes for negotiations/renegotiations.
• Purchase the Company’s material and services according to the purchasing procedures to ensure smooth working flow, in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Monitor market trends, key supplies strategies and market suppliers.
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
• Communicate and coordinate with user departments in order to understand needs, and anticipate and resolve issues, ensuring user satisfaction and that purchasing services or materials meet the approved requirements.
• Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare, distribute, and evaluate quotations completed by various vendors to ensure securing the most advantageous deal in relation to price, quantity, quality, service level, and delivery schedule.
• Conduct research for new sourcing for goods and services, assess and prequalify new providers, compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation.
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues.

Job Main Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Procurement.
• Bachelor Degree of Commerce.
• Very Good English Language.
• Cairo or Giza Resident.
• Oil & Gas Experience
