Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for packaging materials.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Monitor market trends to ensure competitive pricing for packaging materials
- Ensure packaging materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to address any material issues.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Track supplier performance and implement improvement plans when necessary.
- Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Update and maintain procurement records for audits and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in packaging materials to enhance sustainability and efficiency.
- Propose solutions to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in packaging or food & Beverage industries.
