Title: Procurement Specialist
Company Description:
Five Star Flour Mills Co. was established in 1995 as a joint venture between Egyptian and foreign investors. They commissioned their first fully-computerized flour mill in 1998, followed by an expansion in production capacity and the addition of a third milling line in 2001. With the most advanced flour milling technology available, Five Star is the largest flour mill in Egypt, producing 30 specialized and ready-mixed products. They also own a dedicated berth at Adabiya port in Suez and have the largest grain silos in the country with a storage capacity of 125,000 metric tons.
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Specialist located in Heliopolis. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and utilizing analytical skills to optimize procurement processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree of administrative or any relevant
3 years experience in the same role
Experience in creating and managing purchase orders
Ability to evaluate suppliers based on various criteria
Excellent contract negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills for optimizing procurement processes
Knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience in the agriculture or food industry is a plus
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic
