Exploring new markets and suppliers for export and import
Book suitable shipping line as per order requirements.
Processing the required papers (Department of Finance / Customs / Bank).
Negotiate prices, payment and delivery terms.
Arranging production plans for export with technical affairs.
Participate in the policies and procedures manual with the export manager.
Searches for target countries legal, economic and political variables that may affect export operations.
Ensures that the products delivered regularly comply with the rules and regulations of each country.
Liaise with marketing, supply chain and finance functions to enable an efficient export process.
Follow up on logistical operations, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of shipments to designated countries.
Prepare a market survey to study and discover new opportunities.
Prepares monthly process reports covering export activities for review with Export Manager.
Follow up on all shipment clearance procedures
Arrangement and filling of all types of export and import shipping documents.
Follow-up and trace the shipment to its destination.
Proofread clearance, postage and freight invoices signed by the Logistics Manager and send to Finance Debt.
Attending international trade fairs when necessary.
Office Reports, MOM, Weekly Plans, Pipeline, Forecasting, P&L,……etc.
handle all necessary communications with clients; emails and mobile applications,
Close deals.
Follow up on billing, logistics, and packing process… until all dues are transferred.
Work requirements
Bachelor’s degree
English, very good
Computer proficiency (MS Office)
Strong communications, negotiation and follow-up skills
5-7 years of experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers effectively and avoid any misconceptions
Accurate, alert and able to focus under pressure
Good team player and able to coordinate with people effectively
Effective skill in planning things
Expert problem-solving skills
Knowledge of different foreign languages (preferred).
Knowledge of international trade laws
Perfect time management skills (able to have flexible working hours (especially holidays))
Computer skills and proficiency in working on various required software applications.
