Main Tasks include:
1. Maintain Invoice Log: (Registration & Assignment)
• Monthly Reconciliation for Invoice booking
2. Review & Maintain Supplier database along with all supplier documentation.
• Maintain the electronic Supplier Database
• Ensure completion of supplier evaluation at least once per year in Q1 of the following year and report the results to the procurement manager.
3. Production of Direct & Indirect Material:
• Develop and execute strategies for major Direct Material and process local purchasing
• Researching and identifying potential suppliers.
• Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
• Liaising with internal project and maintaining strong supplier relations.
• Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
• Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns
• Implementation of sourcing strategies
• Contract review and new prices negotiation and management based on business need.
• Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory cost and procurement records
4. Ensure following the company strategy when purchasing goods and services aligned with MB Policies & guidelines.
5. Handling Purchase Requisition:
• Purchase Requisition submission & Follow-up
• Email the Purchase Order to the supplier (where the system does not support automatic emailing)
• Follow up on advance payment processing and settlement
6. Performing Administrative Activities, performing day to day administrative
7. Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
8.Perform required Monthly/Quarterly Internal controls.
Qualifications:
Educational Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
Technical knowledge
- 2-3 year of Experience in Procurement (Direct/Indirect Experience)
- Reasonable know-how of local content, price structure, cost elements and automotive feeding industry in Egypt (suppliers, management, projects, and regulations)
Soft skills/individual competence
- Project Management knowledge and practice
- Proven Business knowledge and Expertise
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and operationalize business strategies
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong Leadership & interpersonal skills
- Good overview about tools & equipment as well as external contractors, suppliers & companies
