Position Details:

Purpose of the Position:
Lead and optimize the procurement function to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition while maintaining high-quality standards. Foster strategic supplier relationships, minimize risks, and implement efficient procurement strategies.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
Partner with stakeholders for clear requirements documentation.
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
Research new products or vendors to reduce costs, improve quality, and delivery time.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Prepare procurement reports.
Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
Conduct meetings, prepare and present reports, and provide information to identify purchasing requirements.
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
Working Conditions:
Office work: 70%
Outdoor/site: 30%
Job Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum 10 years of proven procurement experience.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
Familiarity with industry-specific procurement requirements.
Data analysis and reporting skills.
Excellent in using Microsoft Office, CRM, & SAP experience is a must.
Excellent in English (Reading, writing, and listening).
Education & Training:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
Additional training or certification in supply chain and procurement management is a plus.
