How You’ll Make An Impact

• Support the technical departments by establishingcontacts to subcontractors and suppliers obtaining quotations, carry out pricenegotiations and prepare purchase orders.
• Maintain close contact to client to ensure timelyprovision of materials and services required by Siemens Energy O&M whichare under company’s scope according to O&M contract, verify deliveriesagainst Siemens Energy O&M requirements.
• Raising and maintaining all documentation relatedto Purchasing for the site, including purchase orders delivery notes and vendorrequests.
• Support in preparing and maintaining ofadministrative reports related to purchasing activities and store management.
• Identify areas of potential cost savings and makesuggestions for process Improvements.
• Establish Purchasing administration procedures inaccordance with policy.
• Following and enforcing the company’s procurementpolicies and procedures.
• Preparing budgets for the purchase of equipment,services, and supplies every year
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications,delivery times and product ranges.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports to management.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Identity damaged or defective goods and work out an alternative solutionwith the supplier.

What you Bring

• At least 5 years of experience in similar role
• Bachelors in Supply Chain Management/Procurement or BusinessAdministration.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement and SCM process and guidelines.
• Experience in SAP.
• Knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
• Experience in a power plant / industrial environment would beadvantageous.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a range ofstakeholders both internally and externally.
• Analytical and mathematical capabilities to compare prices andquantities and consider vendor contract terms as well as committing ourcompany’s guidelines.
• Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and manage time efficiently.
• Excellentcommand of English language (German would be advantageous)
