Procurement / Purchasing Officer
Job Description
- Attending meetings, creating presentations, and negotiating about potential business collaboration with other Construction companies.
- Buying products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations.
- Purchasing Officer responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, and preparing reports (e.g., on orders and costs.)
- Planning and coordinate meetings with Main Construction Contractors.
- Dealing and sourcing for the suitable suppliers in order to get the best prices.
Job Requirements and Skills
- Engineering degree & member of the Engineers Syndicate.
- Experienced in constructions field for 1-2 years.
- Fluency in English both verbal and written.
- Use of MS excel at an advanced level and familiarity with all other MS Office applications.
- Good Presentation Skills.
- A knack for negotiation and networking.
- Good appearance.
- For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.
