CEMEX Egypt is hiring: Procurement Negotiator in Assiut.
Job Overview:

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
Main Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for negotiating the best terms of purchase for the equipment, parts, services, and critical materials needed for the Egypt’s cement operations.
- Generates quotations, RFPs, auctions, purchase orders and agreements
- Evaluates national vendors through the Strategic Sourcing Methodology process and guarantees their compliance with CEMEX standards and established criteria.
- Responsible for recording the negotiated payment terms in the address book, as well as following up the correct application in accounting to payment terms.
- Guarantees that the agreed purchase terms & conditions are fulfilled.
- Monitors the market trends in the country and proposes new vendors or negotiation practices.
Required Skills:
- Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in similar position
- Technical knowledge: Deep knowledge of supply market trends and supply chain management concepts, good knowledge of cement operations is preferred
- Analytical Thinking: Problem Solver & seeks best solutions
- Interpersonal Skills: Team player with the ability to deal with people who hold opposing views, tolerates conflicts and ambiguity.
- Personal Attributes: Ethical with high compliance to institutional policies
- Residence: Assiut Resident
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office – Especially Excel & PowerPoint
- Good knowledge with ERP systems preferably SAP
