Procurement & Logistic Senior Specialist At Al-Mansour Automotive

Job Role

We are seeking an organized, reliable procurement & logistic specialist with a precise attention to detail to join our growing organization.

In this position, you will compile requests for parts, prepare purchase orders and keep track of purchases and supplies to ensure timely receipt of parts at minimal costs. You will help manage purchasing, warehousing, distribution and forecasting, and handle inquiries about orders.

Job Responsibilities

• Accepting and editing purchase requests from various parts departments.
• Co-ordinate the transportation of Parts from the various Suppliers to our warehouses.
• Contacting suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries (back orders).
• Corresponding with suppliers for quotations, preparing purchase orders and performing buying duties.
• Liaise with the Procurement & Logistics Supervisor regarding the efficient running of shipping and transporting of parts.
• Maintain records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries.
• Propose and implement transport strategy, (shipping carriers).
• Send claims reports to supplier and follow up till settlement.
• Track deliveries and make sure what received is exactly what was ordered from suppliers
• Verifying the accuracy of purchase orders.
  
  

Education

Bachelor Degree

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Tertiary Level And Related Supply Chain Qualifications/training

Minimum Experience:

2 years working experience, preferably in automotive industry or supply chain organization

Job specific Skills:

• Microsoft Excel knowledge essential
• Excellent IT skills, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Fair understanding of automotive parts application/usage
• Strong communication skills, internal and external.
• Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines.
• Integrity to match company image and Innovation for continual improvements.
