Job Description
- Achieve and ensure the company targets and purchasing policies of (cost saving (PPV), Payment facilities, SOP’s, Code of Conducts, conflict of interest, Separation of duties and Etc…) within the DM & IDM team.
- Assist the procurement manager to set the DM & IDM (Sourcing and Purchasing) strategy for the assigned commodities, prepare the DM & IDM annual Budget actions for the assigned commodities and prepare the DM & IDM OGSM & 12 Months Cost saving Activity Plan.
- Implement required actions by (Analyze the market for potential new suppliers, negotiate prices and control the RFQs (Request for quotations) with suppliers and secure and exceed the budgeted savings)
- Prepare the FBS, vendor selection and develop & maintain a strong and reliable suppliers’ base and establish a solid connection between them and the organization.
- Day-to-day liaising and support of planning and other functions in relation to their respective tasks beside Support Procurement Department Director in his\her tasks and objectives.
- Ensure an up to date (administration of documentation, databases, required reporting and assist or contribute to assigned projects.
- Monitor RM trends (LME & Price indices) & Reports compiled by 3rd parties.
Job Requirements
- BSc. Degree of Engineering/Science ( AAST, Pharos, BU, E-JUST,….etc.)
- Good English, computer, decision-making, and communication is mandatory.
- Teamwork, Leadership, Adaptability & Flexibility and Working with Discipline.
