Procurement Engineer
* About the Role and its Purpose:
Enova by Veolia is hiring procurement engineer to be responsible for the procurement activities, in terms of Suppliers and Subcontractor’s Sourcing, Contracts overview, specifications, prices, Evaluation, Reports, control and Risk management of all activities.
1. Assists in managing all the procurement processes, from sourcing, request for quotation, negotiation, scheduling, process purchase orders, arrange for shipment, follow up on orders, delivery control and expediting the materials to ensure on-time delivery.
2. Analyze, comprehend, Negotiates and finalizes contracts with Vendors (suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers) to define project scope, timeline, milestones, and contract terms.
3. Review, Analyze and approve technical data, designs, preliminary specifications and need requests and quantities sent by the Project Execution Department
4. Study and compare received offers/quotations and negotiate on both technical and commercial aspects of products/services.
* Core Competencies for this role:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Innovative and Conceptual Skills.
**Technical / professional qualifications:
• 3 to 5 Years of experience in Procurement with good exposure to Facilities management sector or any other Industry.
• Good experience of Civil/MEP Services & Materials Costing in Egypt.
• MEP project experience as Site Project Execution Engineer in the construction sector is a Plus.
