What you will do:
- Monitor daily position schedules from head office for company services calling terminals for expected vessels ETA
- Issue terminals daily position sheet, declaring all vessels under operations
- Responsible for all communications with port authority relating to berth and unberth of ships
- Boarding vessels upon arrival, berth and submit the loading instructions / loading IMO-Reefers -OOG mft / Port stay guidance & contacts) to vessels
- Perform port clearance procedures
- Perform any services required with subcontractors
- Check loading instructions and obtain any modifications needed then submit to the terminal
- Stay on board during all cargo operations, starting from berth till declaration that vessel is ready for sailing, to facilitate communication between vessel and terminal
- Deal with official authorities such as SC inspectors, Port Sate, Quarantine, Customs, Port Security, etc.
- Follow up on operations productivity and cranes provided to vessel to be sure that terminal is working according to our crane split to reduce port stay
- Submit vessel with departure condition – EDI file to check before sailing
- Doing the arrival / departure report for non-company vessels and send it to all parties concerned
- In charge of PRS all ships on system
- Doing all operational statistics and reports
- Coordinate with operations team, develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures to achieve the optimum performance and high productivity on ships
Profile Needed:
Must be a Resident in Alexandria
Bachelor’s Degree
2-3 Years in Maritime Shipping, Operations Department
Good English Level
Good MS Office Skills
