Planning Section Head At Elixir Pharma

Elixir Pharma is seeking to hire a Planning Section Head position.
The key responsibilities of the job would be:

– Create and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory targets.
– Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, raw material availability, and production capacity.
– Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
– Implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
– Collaborate with production, procurement, quality control, and other departments to ensure alignment on production goals.
– Act as the primary point of contact for planning-related issues and updates.
– Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
– Generate regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and schedule adherence.
– Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
– Develop and maintain planning procedures and best practices.
– Lead, train, and mentor a team of planners, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
–  Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
– Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is a Must.
– Postgraduate studies in Management are desired.
– +7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on planning and supply chain management.
– Proven track record of managing production schedules and inventory in a complex manufacturing environment.
– Strong ability in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
– Leadership and team management experience.
