Your role and responsibilities
You will be accountable for:
- Owning the site supply planning process.
- Providing visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Providing feedback on the site’s ability to support the demand plan in the S&OP process.
- Owning the inventory or Net Working Capital (NWC) checkbook for the local unit.
- Site inventory and driving inventory optimization projects within the site.
- Ensuring the right inventory levels are maintained, optimizing them according to the company’s targets, while ensuring a high customer service level.
- Establishing and maintains inventory management processes for finished goods in line with company guidelines.
- Responsible for the inventory checkbook process and related periodical follow-ups/monthly reviews.
- Running a short-term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution (S&OE) process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution.
- Coordinating an appropriate response to unplanned events.
- Supporting the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with business functions and Supply units (feeder factories).
Qualifications for the role
- Your keys to be successful in this role:
- + 8 years of experience in same field, with management experience of +60 employees.
- Strong expertise in SAP PP/MM modules, with hands-on experience in production planning, material management, and inventory optimization.
- Managing volatile and customer-specific demand patterns with limited forecast reliability and high customization complexity.
- Leading swift, structured responses to urgent order changes, supply disruptions, and customer escalations in a highly dynamic environment.
- Orchestrating supply planning across diverse production lines while balancing unique production constraints.
