Location: Sheraton
Responsibilities:
1-Handling all daily ocean export shipments from booking until invoicing.
2-Providing expert advice to clients regarding logistic processes, documentation, inspections, letters of credit, or any other shipping questions which may arise.
3-Booking, arranging for or confirming cargo space with carriers.
Arranging picks up of cargo to port.
4-Preparing and/or processing export declarations, including the required ‘electronic export information.
5-Preparing and/or processing carrier Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders, legalization of documents or other shipping documents.
6-Issuing House Bills of Lading or equivalent documents.
7-Preparing and/or sending advance notifications of shipments or other documents to agents, shippers or consignees as required.
8-Coordinating the movement of shipments between origin and destination.
9-Tracking shipments and sending regular status reports to clients.
10-Data input/ logging files.
11-Communicating with all external and internal partners as well as customers to ensure smooth transport arrangement.
12-Operating according to our Standard Operation Procedures.
13-Support colleagues if required.
