Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Ocean Export specialist located in Qesm Heliopolis. As a specialist, you will be responsible for managing every aspect of shipment transportation from preparation to execution by communicating with carriers and customers, ensuring shipments are properly cleared, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Daily tasks include resolving any issues that may arise, providing shipment status updates, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to guarantee a smooth transportation process, and implementing solutions to improve operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in ocean freight forwarding and export compliance regulations.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs brokerage, and regulations.
- Skilled in customer service and communication.
- Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task, and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Fluent in English and any additional language(s) as required by the job location.
