National Logistics Manager At Al Futtaim

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Deliver logistical services as per budgeted cost by ensuring delivery of 3PL performances
    • Monitor and deliver OPEX cost on agreed % to sales with cost Savings initiatives
    • Manage all 3PL performances with monthly KPI tracking by reviewing productivity, utilization and on time performance
    • Ensure all import and exports are performed at agreed lead time and cost
  • To ensure submission of certificate & Registration ministerial Decree to Registration Department and keep the brand under whitelist.
  • Engage with brands to submit ISO9001 certificates to continue with whitelist.
  • Ensure all the documentation are correct as per the law.
  • Facilitate smooth clearance of beauty products which may include, follow up with customs, MOH, lab test etc.
  • Report incidents and process claims for compensations
  • Monitor customer complaint received through NPS and put corrective actions through delivery partners
  • Evaluation and recovery of Egypt supply chain
  • Deliver service excellence by contract management, tendering, cost tracking and cost saving initiatives
    • Monitor all 3PL contracts and ensure status to be green
    • Ensure all logistics costs are tracked, monitored and analyzed on monthly basis
    • Deliver cost saving on export transportation and documentation
  • Managing different models of stores replenishments such the below:
    • Local DC fulfilments
    • Direct to stores from origin
    • Cross dock model
    • Ecom fulfilment and last mile delivery
  • Measure freight lead time from source to arrival at DC by ‘lane’ and take steps to minimise: by event code: haulage to port, port dwell time, sailing time, port dwell time, haulage to DC.
  • Assist Logistics Manager MENA in working with Retail Operations and Merchandising & Buying to deliver the stock cover KPI in line with the sales plan and budgeted Logistics costs.
  • Measure Develop a cost budget based on volume projections with key indices per lane.
  • Minimise airfreight.
  • Work closely with Store Development in delivering fixtures and fittings on time at best cost
  • Full responsibility for all transactions on retail SAP (M&s)
  • Follow up with clearance & freight team regarding the shipments in the pipeline and the expected arrival dates at Warehouse.
  • Ensure smooth receiving / dispatching the goods as per agreed and productivity, KPIs
  • Dispatches information – Distribution to Stores – Tracker
  • Coordinate with Logistics Manager to ensure targets are achieved in line with objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Graduate – Preferably with related Background

Minimum Experience:

  • 9 – 10 Years of Logistics / Warehouse & Distributions Operational experience

Job-Specific Skills:

  • MS Office and Computer Skills
  • Working knowledge of Oracle / SAP / Retail pro / RMS Any other ERP System – Preferable
