JOB PURPOSE:

1- Ensuring the material availability (API , Inactive , PKG) as well as NON cogs availability on time.

2-Performing the material planning & Manage any changes that may occur due ensuring the production continuity & achieving the required forecast.

3-Monitor stock level & adapt to market changes.

4- Setting the production plan for all the production departments taking into consideration customer delivery requirements, production capacities, materials availability & maintenance schedules

) Planning & MRP:

  • Perform MRP for Packaging materials.
  • Adapt with any sudden production planning changes that may occur due to machines problem or forecast changes & react accordingly.
  • Monitor stock level & adapt to market changes.
  • Submit weekly analysis report on the required materials based on the production need.
  • Submit Purchase requisitions for the required material based on the needed delivery dates.
  • Convert Purchase requisitions to Purchase orders & send to the supplier

B) Import

1st step Importation Tracking

  • Manage the importation Follow up process in terms of shipping docs, annual importation plan & material availability for all Active, inactive , PKG materials .
  • Manage financial settlement related to the purchase orders to ensure that the suppliers will receive their payment on time & without any delay.
  • Distribution Risk Assessment for all RM & PM received and participating in many investigations with our quality team and suppliers to ensure that materials received are in a good quality.

2nd step: Clearance activity

  • Manage the clearance process with the Forwarder till goods reach our site.
  • Manage & monitor the cash flow with our treasury dept on monthly basis.
  • Manage the Ministry of Health approvals, requirements & the annual importation plan preparation till submitted to the MOH .
  • Review clearance agents VAT & customs duties applied.
  • Monitor & Investigate the root cause of damaged shipments to reach the optimum solution & ensuring efficient cycle flow to get the required compensation.

C) Export:

  • Negotiate the forwarder’s offered rates & get the best offer.
  • Formulate export Documentations.
  • Follow up on the shipment till reach the customer.

HSE Responsibilities:

Assure the full implementation of all action plans related to HSE, within plant logistics scope Commitment to the appropriate PPE use. Follow the approved HSE policy and requirements. Following the statutory legislation concerning Health, Safety and environmental law. Hydrocarbons/ hazardous substance & waste segregation in accordance with approved waste management system.

JOB-HOLDER’s ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • B.Sc. in pharmacy is preferred

Related Experience:

  • 6months to 2 years in pharmaceutical industry with Logistic & supply chain preferred.
