Beko Global is hiring Material Planning Engineer – Domestic

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs.
  • Take ownership of material planning issues that arise, including over or under delivery and take any follow up actions especially in the event of material shortages that affect production.
  • Manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place.
  • Seek and recommend solutions to overcome issues arising in order to meet production requirements and address operational risks.
  • Develop, agree, and implement KPI’s for material supply for Crop protection supply.
  • Lead ROP and Pre-S&OP cycle.
  • Investigate and implement system enhancement initiatives.
  • Always ensure the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory accuracy and manage and control inventory levels and movements.
  • Establishing close working relationship with local commercial and production teams to ensure smooth operation of the Demand and Supply Management cycle.
  • Know purchase parts in detail and cross train.
  • Develop ways to continuously improve the materials planning process and work with cross-functional teams to implement ideas.
  • Manage non-compliant deliveries: in agreement with Quality- Manufacturing- Supplier, report nonconformity material with all needed information to manage failure and arrange for replacement of the defective material/ component to maintain healthy feeding to the plant operations.
  • Suppliers Follow up and Well Control and Manage on Stocks in transit.
  • To follow supplier physical delivery according to site production requirement. Fully understand industrial difficulties, to build action plan with suppliers in case of delivery risk.
  • Calculate the Supplier Capacity Available rolling 12-month plan.
  • Frequently Suppliers Visit for more alignments and Develop performance Local.
  • Weekly Progress report about the Stock update 12 Week ahead (Coverage Visibility).

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in business, logistics or engineering.
  • Broad and solid experience (8+ years) in material management functions as: MRP, logistics, purchasing.
  • Experience in ERP systems, Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • APICS fundamentals knowledge.
  • Materials planning processes such as MRP, Demand Flow, Kan-Ban, JIT.
  • Process oriented (Following SOPs, ISO-Documentation).
  • Capability to work under pressing business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient level of English.
