  • Coordinate and execute a comprehensive procurement plan for all raw and packaging materials needed for production.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and minimize inventory costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that all materials are available when needed and minimize waste.
  • Work with materials management team to identify potential issues and implement processes to quickly resolve them.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on cost- quality- and delivery metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement of materials.
  • Create visibility and reporting structures to senior management.
  • Work closely with supply planner to convert unconstrained demand plan to constrained supply forecast.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management- Business Administration- or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement- preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals- including sourcing- planning- and inventory management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite- including Excel. Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication- problem-solving- and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced- deadline-driven environment.
