Job Purpose:Responsible for all supply planning & warehouse functions plans through reviewing and amending monthly, weekly purchasing, and production plans, in addition to evaluating the Purchasing and Plants functions’ level of adherence to the plans prepared by the Supply Planning function, as well as participating in setting and implementing a comprehensive framework to monitor and evaluate plants capacities and productivities to make sure the workflow is running as planned.Job Specific Accountabilities:
- Prepares efficient production plans and sequences based on demand
- Manages raw and packaging material availability and release to guarantee that all required components are available to fulfill the plan
- Maintains an active communication channel with the sales function to ensure a smooth flow of the information required to establish and update the shipping plans
- Manages the demand forecasting and process utilizing, qualitatively and quantitatively as per the standard procedures to generate accurate forecasts that help in reducing inventory costs
- Manages inventory to optimize the needed quantities
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
- Manages all warehouse activities to ensure all materials are received, stored, and dispensed properly
- Prepare warehouse and planning budget and track the departmental expenses
Qualifications:
- BSc. in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management or Engineering with preferably a masters
- 10-12 years of experience in a related position with at least 4 years of progressive managerial experience.
