You are responsible for
for directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle until delivery (at the right time and on the right place) to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction, manage logistics personnel and logistics systems and direct daily operations. You will report to the Customer Care Center Manager.
- Fully Responsible for on time delivery managing outbound and inbound shipments in a timely and accurate manner, while ensuring continuous improvement of warehouse performance.
- Ensure a smooth customs clearance and importation, prepare all the required data,
- Q&R/permits/documents on time.
- Organize and monitor the storage and distribution of goods inside and outside the country (inventory control).
- Operate warehouse and managing the security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review, as also audit of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Responsible for the maintenance and compilation of documents for the purpose of data entry and following up in the event of discrepancies and ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations, policies and timely and accurate resolution of issues that may arise.
- Ensure full data and plans visibility with the team, stakeholders, and management.
- Align requirements and data with CFC (customer fulfilment center), PM’s for accurate delivery.
- Ensure reverse logistics is managed and salvage activities are performed and to have an overview of non-salvaged goods
- Maintain the full support for the stakeholders during the local and/or indent order cycle for the direct and indirect business models.
- Managing 3rd party logistics, including external warehousing and transportation based on SLA.
- Review Warehouse and Shipping performance with provider to make sure their performance is up to standard.
- Accountable for inventory accuracy at external warehouse and review of any inventory issues (damage, loss, missing or excess inventory).
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
- Monitor product import or export processes changes to ensure contentious compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
- Ensure carrier compliance with Philips policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Negotiate transportation rates or services when available for cost effectiveness.
- Supervision, selection, coaching and evaluation of team personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
- Train shipping department, logistics, and warehouse personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
- Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services or transport activities.

- Proven working experience in logistics management.
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Experience working in Matrix Organization.
- Experience in Customer Services or Customer Relations (3 – 5 yrs. minimum)
- Communication and relationship management considering cultural and language differences.
- Strong knowledge in ERP/ SAP/ Excel is a must have.
- University degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to local language is a must have.
