NASPS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team.
As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods and materials throughout our supply chain network.
Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and manage transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
– Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and freight forwarders.
– Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
– Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
– Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan logistics strategies.
– Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to streamline operations.
– Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
– Proven experience of 2 years in logistics management.
– Strong knowledge of logistics operations and industry best practices.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
– Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
– Problem-solving mindset and ability to think strategically.
