We are hiring *Logistics Specialist* With experience in the *fruit export industry*

Job Description :

· Receiving the order from the Sales Department start to specify the Quantities.

· Check the best rate with the best transit Time” T.T” with Freight Forwarders / Shipping lines.

· Arrange the booking with shipping Companies and get the confirmation.

· Makes sure the warehouse is ready for shipments of the order or not.

· Identification and confirmation of loading date and time and loading Station with the production Department for Air and Sea freight.

· Confirming the booking and sending pre-alert to Clients and their agents for the shipment.

· Reviewing all invoices of the shipping, and the airline account statement.

· Updating shipping rates for each month and sending them to the sales department.

· Review the reports the logistics team sent daily on the ” total no. of containers, total varieties, and, the countries”.

· Following- up on the amounts owed by the company for the cost of shipping with the shipping companies monthly and sending reports on them to the management.

Sea Freight

· Specify the port of loading, port of delivery, and if it will be directly delivered or need a truck.

· Searching for Available vessels “Shipping lines / Freight Forwarders” on Hapag-Lloyd, MSC, Maersk, CMA, and sea land “Seago” starting to Book via Shipping companies.

· Receiving the agreed rates and confirming the booking.

· Make a Planned Arrival Sheet for Each Client and send it daily.

· Issuing claims in case of any technical problem in the container towards the shipping line.

Air Freight

· Specify the Quantity and equipment needed (PMC, PAG, or PLA) Pallets Heights and minimum weight with a suitable airline.

· Searching for Available flights on EgyptAir, Emirates Airline, and all airlines.

· Coordinate freight with the production department for the minimum weight and pallets heights.

· Receiving the agreed rates confirming the booking with the shipping Company.

· Send a confirmation email / WhatsApp to the production department to proceed.

· Send pre-alert Emails to the clients and their Agents with AWB No. expected quantity Flight ETD and ETA.

· Following- up on Telex release, Sales requests on time.

· Issue copies of BLs on time.

Requirements:

– Degree Graduates of the Faculty of Commerce “English Section” Or Foreign Trade ” highly preferred

– Experience: not less than 3 years *preferably in the Fruit Export industry.*

– Age: maximum 30 years.

– Language: Very Good in English

location: El Sheik Zayed residents and nearby areas are preferred.
