Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Specialist. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to start their career in logistics and supply chain management. The Logistics Specialist will play a key role in coordinating and supporting daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and scheduling shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to track shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, such as invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet customer demands.
• Support the team in managing import/export operations, including compliance with customs regulations.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on shipping and logistics activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems is a plus (training will be provided).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
