Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Job Summary: A logistics specialist is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods and materials within an organization. They ensure that products reach their destinations efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and coordinate restocking when necessary to prevent stock outs or overstock situations.
Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to coordinate the flow of goods and materials through the supply chain.
Transportation Management: Plan and schedule shipments, including selecting the appropriate carriers and transportation methods to meet delivery requirements and cost objectives.
Order Fulfillment: Process and track orders, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment while minimizing errors and delays.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess logistics efficiency and make data-driven improvements.
Technology Utilization: Use logistics software and tools to track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and improve overall logistics processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
Preferred 0 to 1 experience in logistics and supply chain management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
Knowledge of import/export regulations.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Working hours: 08:00 to 03:30
