Logistics Manager At Siraj Lighting

Siraj Lighting is hiring a Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities:

– Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
– Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
– Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
– Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
– Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
– Resolve any arising problems or complaints
– Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
– Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
– Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
– Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
– Getting the proforma invoices complied with its official purchase orders
– Issuing bank transfers according to each supplier payment terms
– Managing all foreign manufacturers’ financials.
– ensuring all foreign transactions is complying with our Egyptian central bank regulations
– Following up the delivery dates.
– Choosing best shipping method in accordance to the project’s delivery date
– Executing shipping orders based on quotations received by forwarders
– Ensuring that the packing requirements labels are as required.
– Following up with the forwarders, pick up dates, flight/vessel details& shipments tracking’s.
– Follow up courier shipments with complete set of documents.
– Review bills of lading for incoming merchandise& supplier’s documents
– Insuring proper documentations for customs clearance in accordance to the Egyptian customs regulations & requirements.
– Following the clearance process and handle any problem may occur.
– Checking the shipment after receiving it with the warehouse, making sure that the goods received is as per our purchase order
.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, logistics or Accounting.
– 6 to 10 years of Experience in Logistics/Procurement/Purchasing or any related field.
